Goal.com has reported that Roma are hoping to snag Nani in the January transfer window but a deal is still far away as neither club have held any talks over the matter. Nani, who was once looked at as the successor to Cristiano Ronaldo, has struggled to find consistency and has now found himself sliding down the pecking order in the first team at Old Trafford.
Roma would like to sign Nani on a six month loan with the option to make the move permanent. United's transfer demands and Nani's wages could prove major stumbling blocks for the Italian capital team.Tags: Manchester, Manchester United, Nani, Premier League, Roma, Six Month Loan, Soccer
